Instructions for authors
Proposals for communication must be submitted by the authors by 15th of July, 2018. After sending the papers, the authors should receive a confirmation response to the receipt of the papers. Please note that if you do not receive this notification, you should contact the secretariat by e-mail. The texts will be evaluated on the basis of scientific merit and the authors notified of their acceptance by 31st of July. After confirmation of acceptance of the works, authors must register between August 1 and September 1.
Proposals must be accompanied by a summary in Portuguese, English or Spanish (maximum of 300 words), the name of the authors, their résumé (max 200 words) and institutional affiliation. The communications will have a duration of 15 minutes and should be integrated into the following issues related to the Castro Culture:
CHRONOLOGIES - URBANISM AND ARCHITECTURE - EXPLORATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES - NORTHWEST TERRITORIES - NORTHWEST CONQUEST AND TRANSITION TO THE ROMAN WORLD - ARCHAEOLOGY IN THE NORTHWEST
Writing style and format
Bibliographic reference standards should respond to those presented in the sixth edition of the APA, in order to standardize and clearly state the final publication. For being an International Conference, texts and oral communications may be in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
Articles with a maximum of 20 pages (images included). Times New Roman letters, size 12 with spacing of 1.5 lines. Footnotes size 10. Articles should be accompanied by two abstracts, one in the mother tongue and the second in English, and a maximum of 5 keywords. Images must be submitted in the text of the article and simultaneously in individual JPEG files with a minimum of 300 dpi resolution.
